Learn proportion, 3-D, perspective, and shading techniques through
fun exercises using charcoal, ink and graphite.

In this class you will learn see with your right brain which will allow you to draw things as they are and not how your left brain thinks they are. Learning this concept is the key to being able to render a life-like drawing of your subject. Some of the techniques you will learn which will aid this process include proportion, perspective, negative drawing, and shading techniques.  You will use a variety of media including graphite, charcoal, and ink while partaking in fun drawing exercises. This class will allow reluctant and novice drawers to draw accurate impressive images with confidence.

Do you ever wonder why some photographs or paintings get your attention more than others? In this class you will study composition design elements, which will allow you to create striking images. Learn how strong compositions can help artists working with any media. You will have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of media including watercolor, ink, acrylic and more.
